Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur face each other in the Premier League this weekend, according to ESPN FC, in a meeting that comes with growing scrutiny on new managers Michael Carrick and Roberto De Zerbi.

The fixture is being framed as a test for both sides after their summer transfer activity, with ESPN FC highlighting the contrast in the way the two clubs have approached the window.

For United, the game offers another early reference point under Carrick, while Tottenham arrive under De Zerbi with expectations shaped by the scale of the occasion. ESPN FC’s report places the managers at the centre of the discussion rather than the result itself, making this one of the weekend’s most closely watched Premier League meetings.
